Write, schedule, and track LinkedIn content with AI
Professionals know LinkedIn drives business - but creating consistent content is painful. Draftly used AI to turn existing content (videos, tweets, blogs) into LinkedIn posts in your voice, schedule them, and track what resonates. Built by 1Raft, acquired within a year.

To create a month of content
Exit within 12 months
LinkedIn is the highest-ROI channel for B2B professionals, but fewer than 3% post consistently. The reason isn't strategy - it's execution. Writing a single post takes 30-60 minutes. Maintaining a daily cadence means 10-20 hours a month on content alone.
Cost of inaction
A founder spending 15 hours/month writing LinkedIn posts is spending $3,000-$7,500 worth of time. Hiring a ghostwriter costs $2,000-$5,000/month. The opportunity cost of NOT posting - lost leads, weaker positioning, slower trust-building - is even higher.
We studied how top LinkedIn creators work. The common pattern: batch-create content, schedule a week ahead, analyze what performs, double down. The tools they used (Notion + Buffer + Canva + Google Sheets) were disconnected and manual.
Draftly combined all four workflows into one tool. Paste a YouTube URL, and the AI extracts key points and writes 5 LinkedIn posts in your voice. Design a carousel by filling in text - no Canva skills needed. Schedule, publish, track.
Voice matching was the hardest technical challenge. Generic AI content sounds generic. We fine-tuned on the user's past posts and communication style, so the output reads like them - not like a chatbot.
Key insight
Most professionals already create content - just not on LinkedIn. They record podcasts, write newsletters, tweet threads, give talks. The bottleneck is repurposing existing content into LinkedIn-native formats, not creating from scratch.

Content creation speed
Time to acquisition
Grew from 0 to 8,000+ active users in 6 months through product-led growth and LinkedIn virality.
Users went from 30-60 min per post to creating 5 posts in under 15 minutes with AI repurposing.
From first line of code to acquisition in under a year - validating market demand and execution speed.
“I went from posting once a month to daily. My inbound leads doubled within 6 weeks.”
Voice-matched AI generation
Generic AI output was the #1 churn reason in competitor tools. Training on the user's past posts produces content that sounds like them, not a template.
Multi-source ingestion pipeline
Users don't want to write from scratch - they want to repurpose. We built extractors for YouTube transcripts, tweets, RSS feeds, and blog posts.
In-browser carousel editor
Carousels are LinkedIn's highest-engagement format, but creating them requires Canva or Figma skills. A template-based editor with text-only input removed the design barrier.
LinkedIn API direct publishing
Copy-paste publishing is friction that kills consistency. Direct scheduling via LinkedIn API meant one click to queue a week of content.

Voice matching is the moat
Every AI writing tool can generate content. Very few can make it sound like a specific person. Users stayed because Draftly sounded like them.
Product-led growth works when the output is shareable
Every LinkedIn post created with Draftly is a live advertisement. Users didn't need to recommend the tool - their growing LinkedIn presence did it for them.
Speed to acquisition correlates with speed to value
Users who created and scheduled their first post within 5 minutes of signing up had 3x higher retention than those who took longer.
Build for exit readiness from day one
Clean architecture, documented APIs, and separated concerns made due diligence smooth. The acquirer's engineering team onboarded in under a week.
Growth strategy
Pure product-led growth. Every post created with Draftly performed well on LinkedIn, which attracted new users organically. We supplemented with LinkedIn content about building Draftly - eating our own cooking.
