What we were up against

Traditional POS hardware is expensive and inaccessible for small businesses in remote areas - merchants who can't afford dedicated terminals lose customers to competitors who accept digital payments, directly impacting revenue.

Non-technical merchants needed a payment solution they could operate confidently. Existing mobile payment apps assumed technical literacy, creating friction that led to abandonment and support overhead.
