The Challenge

What we were up against

The existing text-based interview format required respondents to read emails, click links, and type answers manually - limiting participation to tech-savvy users and producing low completion rates across broader audiences like HR teams and business owners.

Distribution relied entirely on email, which meant interviews competed with crowded inboxes. There was no fallback for unreachable recipients, no retry mechanism, and no way to conduct interviews over voice - the most natural communication channel for qualitative research.

Reporting was basic and manual. Researchers received raw text responses with no sentiment analysis, no keyword extraction, and no way to compare responses at the feature or theme level - making large-scale interview analysis time-consuming and subjective.
