Enterprise Employee Trivia & Engagement App

Native mobile trivia platform turning passive company knowledge into competitive daily engagement - 5,000+ daily active users, 85% quiz completion, 200+ content modules.

We built a native mobile trivia app that transforms how a large enterprise keeps its dispersed workforce informed and engaged. The platform delivers multiple-choice, image/video, and open-ended challenges through personalized learning paths with adaptive difficulty, competitive leaderboards and badges, and real-time analytics with immediate feedback - reaching 5,000+ daily active users across 200+ content modules.

Content modules: Interactive trivia modules covering company knowledge, product information, and organizational culture.

Daily active users: Employees engaging with the trivia platform daily across multiple office locations.

Quiz completion rate: Percentage of started quizzes completed - driven by adaptive difficulty and competitive mechanics.

Delivery timeline: From kickoff to production launch for native Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS) apps with full analytics backend.

The Challenge

What we were up against

A dispersed workforce spanning multiple locations and time zones made it nearly impossible to keep employees consistently informed about company initiatives, product updates, and organizational goals through traditional communication channels.

Existing training and knowledge-sharing methods - email blasts, static intranet pages, and quarterly town halls - lacked interactivity and generated minimal engagement, with no way to measure whether employees actually absorbed the information.

Fragmented information access meant employees had no single destination for company knowledge, leading to weak awareness of company culture, strategic goals, and cross-departmental initiatives.

There was no feedback loop - leadership had no visibility into which topics employees understood well and which needed reinforcement, making it impossible to target knowledge gaps.

Frequently asked questions about this project

Native development (Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS) delivers smoother animations, faster load times, and better device integration - all critical for a daily-use app competing for attention with personal apps on employees' phones. For a trivia app where responsiveness and visual polish directly affect engagement, the native experience justifies the investment over cross-platform frameworks.
